DINA MARTINA
Look at that facedoesn't it just scream glamour and goodwill? Who better to celebrate this special season? She's back in town for some impassioned holiday song-wrecking, in a special no-frills series of appearances accompanied by Chris Jeffries on piano. Her scheduled three-night-only engagement has probably already sold-out, but the faithful should keep close watch: Rabidly comic performer Grady Westa close confidante of Dina and to whom she bears striking resemblancesays there's a possibility of extra dates being added. Re-bar, 114 Howell St., 206-323-0388. $15. Opens Wed. Dec. 10. 8 p.m. every Wed. Ends Wed. Dec. 24. STEVE WIECKING
A TAP DANCE CHRISTMAS CAROL
Cheryl Johnson (pictured, as Jacob Marley) and Anthony Peters have developed this tap version of Dickens' holiday story. YesTiny Tim taps. Parts of it are tongue-in-cheek, but it's quite fun, and a nice alternative to the more plum pudding-ish stagings of the story. Marley's chain is full of tap shoes, and Scrooge regains his "festive feet" at the finale. Broadway Performance Hall, 1625 Broadway Ave., 206-323-1400. $16-$24. Opens Fri. Dec. 12. 8 p.m. Fri.-Sat.; 2 p.m. matinees Sat.-Sun. Ends Sun. Dec. 21. SANDRA KURTZ
