As Belltown's bar scene expands further north, Linda Derschang's Viceroy has struck gold with Second Avenue trawlers who favor a touch of glamour with their cocktails. Like her Capitol Hill hot spot Linda's, the intimate lounge is high-concept (Derschang studied vintage and mod design books for inspiration) and high-style (a stuffed boar's head looms over sumptuous banquettes), even if its most popular DJ night is called "Low Life." DJ Curtis' every-Tuesday tribute to "all things wildly inappropriate" gets bodies moving to new wave, queer disco, and whatever else, even if there's hardly space to dance. Leaning against the softly embossed walls, you'll feel like a million even if you're broke. 2332 Second Ave., 206-956-VICE, www.viceroyseattle.com.
