She owns three Academy Awards for cutting Martin Scorseses Raging Bull, The Aviator, and The Departed. (Their next project together will be an adaptation of Dennis Lehanes Shutter Island, starring Leo DiCaprio.) Shes also famous for being the widow of Michael Powell, and shes lately become the charming public spokeswoman for both directorsexpertly explicating their process and how she shapes raw footage into finished product. No surprise for a woman who studied under Nabokov at Cornell during the 60s, shes an all-round scholar of cinema and a favorite visitor to Seattle. Tonight, after the screening, shell tell you everything you wanted to know about Scorseses 1988 The Last Temptation of Christ. (NR) Seattle Art Museum, 1300 First Ave., 654-3121, www.seattleartmuseum.org. $6-$8. 7:30 p.m. BRIAN MILLER
