Before the advent of Guitar Hero, a video game in which people pretend to be musicians, we had air guitar, a real-life game in which people pretend to be musicians. Rewarding this enthusiasm is the Air Guitar Heroes League of Seattle, which hosts monthly competitions in search of the next man or woman whos got what it takes to be (really) the Air Master. This months installment will be at Happy Lucky Place, which describes itself as Seattles most popular Party House and Communal Living establishment. The winner of the evening will advance to the ultimate round in December, which makes for a season build-up almost as long as baseball. Drink special for the evening: BYOB. Happy Lucky Place, 414 N.E. 50th St., myspace.com/aghl2007. $5 to enter, $2 to watch. 8 p.m. BRENT ARONOWITZ
