Seattle Seahawks versus Green Bay Packers

In some cars, you have to put all your weight on the gas pedal just to keep up with traffic. In others, a light tap will place you in the fast lane. Qwest Field is in that second category. State-of-the-art acoustic design maximizes the noise that rabid Seahawks fans already generate in abundance. And today, with the Green Bay Packers in town, should be a particularly raucous affair. While neither team is a league darling this year, the Packers humiliated the Hawks in a snowy playoff showdown last January, and the Hawks will be looking for revenge. The games are perpetually sold out, but scalpers abound on the streets (and on the Web). Prices should be a little better now that the Hawks are no longer a legit Super Bowl contender (to say the least). Qwest Field, 800 Occidental Ave. S., 622-4295, $80 and up. 1:15 p.m. DAMON AGNOS
