Mariners Vs. Indians

Now Ichiro-less and suddenly lukewarm in the AL West, the Mariners should be able to mount a serious challenge to the visiting Cleveland Indians, since both teams are playing sub .500 ball. The M's are losing less often, which almost feels like winning. He's 10-5 this season with a 2.63 ERA; arguably, with its marquee player gone to the Yankees, he's now the Mariners' most valuable asset. Now let him take a few Indian scalps. BILL MARINER
