1. Ethan Stowell restaurants including mkt., Staple & Fancy Mercantile and Anchovies & Olives are serving special eats for Saint Valentine’s Day: You can browse menus here. And in honor of Bar Cotto’s first birthday, staff are pouring gratis glasses of Lambrusco all night on Feb. 14.

3. Chef Angie Roberts is now heading up the culinary crew at Marination. A Pacific Northwest native, Roberts cut her teeth at various Seattle eateries including Flying Fish and BOKA, working most recently with Josh Henderson’s Huxley Wallace Collective. As Executive Chef she’ll oversee the kitchens of Marination ma kai, Marination Station and Marination Mobile and diversify the catering menu.
