2. Le Petit Cochon is planning an all-offal dinner, its first. The seven-course dinner from Chef Derek Ronspies will focus on a variety of underrated and underused cuts of meat, all sourced locally. Diners have the option of adding a beer, wine, or spirits pairing. Seattle-based bluegrass duo Charlie Beck and Charmaine Slaven of Squirrel Butter will accompany the meal. 3. Mezcaleria Oaxaca launched a Sunday brunch this past weekend. The menu is available from 10 AM to 2 PM and includes items like Torta de Jamon, toasted bolillo bread with ham, lettuce, tomato and onion; Huevos Rancheros, eggs over easy with ranchero sauce, beans and rice; Memelitas, fresh tortillas with black bean sauce, pork gravy, Oaxaqueño cheese and salsa; and Enfrijoladas, tortillas covered in black bean sauce with marinated pork steak, onions and Oaxaqueño cheese. A full bar is also available during brunch.
4. Business Insider has created a map to show which states consume the most wine per capita. Washington D.C. tops the list, with 26 liters of wine consumed per person in 2013. Washington State ranked near the top, with each resident consuming an average of 13.1 liters.
