Here Are The State’s First Licensed Pot Stores

Where will Washingtonians soon be buying legal weed? If they’re in Ephrata, the answer is probably “High Time Station.” In Wenatchee, it’s “The Happy Crop Shoppe.”

Because of course it is.

We know this because the state officially issued its first dozen retail pot licenses today, giving the green light (get it?) for legal weed sales to begin this week. While not all of the businesses listed above (or here) will be operational by Tuesday, if they’ve made it this far chances are they’ll be slinging legal weed ASAP. This is the new world we live in.

As plenty of people have already noted, it’s a bit ridiculous to see Seattle has been awarded just one license. That'll never do. By all indications, the start of legal weed sales in Seattle, and throughout the state, will be frustrating - full of far more pomp than circumstance.

So it goes. It’s still history.

Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.
